These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of silk.sg and your purchase of products from Art of Space LLP, trading as Silk.sg (“Silk”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

2. Orders and Acceptance
- All orders are subject to availability, verification, and acceptance by Silk.
- An order acknowledgement, quotation, or payment confirmation does not by itself guarantee acceptance of the order.
- We may decline or cancel an order where there are pricing errors, product availability issues, suspected fraud, incomplete information, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
- If an order is cancelled after payment is captured, we will refund the amount paid using the original payment method, subject to any non-refundable third-party charges where clearly disclosed and legally permitted.
3. Pricing, Quotations, and Product Information
- Prices are shown in the currency displayed on the website unless otherwise stated.
- We try to keep product descriptions, dimensions, finishes, and pricing accurate, but errors can occur. We reserve the right to correct obvious errors and contact you before proceeding if a material error affects your order.
- Product images are illustrative. Actual colour, grain, texture, stitching, finish, and minor detailing may vary due to manufacturing tolerances, lighting, monitor settings, and natural material differences.
- Custom-made, made-to-order, preorder, or specially sourced products may require confirmation of specifications and longer lead times.
4. Payments
- Payments may be processed by third-party providers such as Stripe, PayPal, HitPay, or WooCommerce Payments.
- You must provide accurate billing and contact information and be authorized to use the payment method submitted.
- Where instalments, deposits, or partial payments are agreed, the order may be processed only after the required payment milestone is received.
5. Shipping, Delivery, and Collection
- Quoted lead times and delivery windows are estimates only. Delays may occur because of production schedules, shipping congestion, customs, weather, carrier issues, or other events outside our reasonable control.
- You are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address, access route, lift access, staircase dimensions, and site conditions are suitable for the ordered items unless we have expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
- If delivery cannot be completed because no one is available, access is not possible, or the site is not ready, we may charge reasonable redelivery, storage, or handling fees.
- Where self-collection is arranged, risk passes to you once the goods are collected by you or your appointed carrier.
- For delivered orders, risk generally passes on delivery, except to the extent caused by an issue that existed before delivery or by our own acts or omissions.
6. Installation and Third-Party Contractors
- Unless we expressly state otherwise, Silk supplies products only and does not provide on-site installation or assembly services.
- You may choose self-assembly, engage your own installer, or use an independent contractor we may recommend.
- Independent installers and contractors are not our employees or agents unless we expressly contract with them on your behalf. We are not responsible for their separate workmanship, scheduling, conduct, or charges.
7. Respectful Conduct
We are committed to respectful communication. We may refuse non-essential service, site access, or further engagement where a person uses abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or harassing language or conduct toward our staff or service partners. Any action we take will not limit rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Silk is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or loss arising from delay, except where such limitation is prohibited by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
9. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. If a dispute arises, we encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve the matter fairly and efficiently. If we cannot resolve the issue, either party may pursue available legal remedies in the courts of Singapore, subject to any non-excludable consumer rights or mandatory dispute-resolution rights that apply.
10. Updates to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time by posting the revised version on this page. The updated version will apply to future orders from the date stated above, and to existing orders only to the extent permitted by law.
